As part of the preparation for the NAFA course we are asking that you go through the following Powerpoint presentation to provide you with an introduction to the Incident Command System (ICS) and a brief introduction to basic fire behavior and fuel types. This is a fairly large file. A normal residential DSL connection should open it within a minute or two. (literality 60 to 120 seconds). Once open choose the Slide Show tab and then click the "From Begining" button on the far left. To advance through the presentation press the space bar, to activate an inbeded video, click your mouse button. If you press the space bar and advance accidently and wanted to view a video, you can "Right" click your mouse and it will open an option window to Advance, Reverse, and among other options to end the slide show. If you choose reverse to the slide you overshot, then cursor your mouse over the video and click, it will play. If you need help you can call Tim Peterson, the NAFA course coordinator at 520-799-8757. |
