Introduction:

This web site includes all the pre-course work associated with the M-581 course. The prework is for most folks a full 45 hours of work. It is not necessary to print all documents, this will only take longer and you will end up with quite a bit of paper.

Course Objectives

Computer Requirements
Internet access is needed for most lessons. Broadband access is assumed--it has not been optimized for dial-up access. In addition, there are links to MS Word (.doc) powerpoint (.ppt) and Adobe (.pdf) files. If needed, Adobe Acrobat Reader can be obtained at their web site. CLICK HERE to get Acrobat Reader.

SAVE Your Answers: Each unit is broken down into different activities, some take up many pages, some only one. You should document your responses by Unit and Activity, save in a secure area on the computer you choose to use, and mail a copy to your designated Course Coordinator.

BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE and EMAIL on ALL documentation your send in or it will not be credited towards your prework.

The Unit tests can be filed and saved from a .DOC file that contain the questions. It is very important that you save copies of all of your answers and it is recommended that you do a backup to a server, secondary computer or other secure device. You will have invested significant amount of time in researching and responding to these questions, so save yourself some anguish, BACKUP your answers!

Unit Indexes
Please read the Unit index for each Unit prior to the first Unit lesson. Each Unit index provides you with Unit objectives and an overview of what to expect. You can return to any Unit index or lesson at any time.
