Access a web site, read, and answer questions
The Wilderness Society web site contains an analysis of the Federal Fire Budget process with recommendations for making it better. This activity will allow you to:
1. Examine the budget process as it directly relates to the fire budget for all
agencies;
2. Compare this process with their understanding of the budget process;
3. Define the concerns of internal and external concerns relating to the cost of
wildland fire suppression; and,
4. Relate the wildland fire budget to the entire federal budget.
