The web site below lists National Response Plan (NRP) links on the Department of Homeland Security web page. This activity will give students an opportunity to:
1. Become familiar with the components of the NRP.
2. Download and print the NRP and annexes for future use and reference.
Access the NRP through the web site listed below and become familiar with the components of the plan.

Review the Letter of Agreement signed by all federal departments and agencies.
Review Appendix 3 of the Base Plan. Become familiar with the Statutes and Regulations, Executive Orders and Presidential Directives contained in the NRP.

Emergency Operations Authorities and planning guidance are contained in Agency Manuals and Handbooks. This activity will familiarize you with where they are located and their content.
Access your agency's emergency authorities on the USFS or DOI web page or in Department/Agency Manuals and Handbooks.
Become familiar with available emergency authorities and planning guidance for emergency response activities.
