Starting in 2001, Ashleigh has worked for the US Forest Service on a variety of resources all over the country, including hotshot crews, engines, and leading a Type 1 Wildland Fire Module. Her last 4 years prior to joining NIPFTC were as Assistant Fire Management Officer in fuels, based out of Arizona, and as a member of a CIM Operations Section.

She has a passion for training and has been involved in leadership training and development, prescribed fire training, and experiential learning delivery as a collateral effort for much of her career. Her new position with NIPFTC, as a US Fish and Wildlife Service employee, is a continuation of that passion and an opportunity to share her knowledge and enthusiasm for training and implementation.
