The National Interagency Prescribed Fire Training Center (NIPFTC) is excited to announce:

The addition of new staff members to support increasing NIPFTC's deliverables and expanding their training locations, and the finalization of the NIPFTC Strategic Plan which will outline the expansion in two main areas:

• Adding an additional Agency Administrator Workshop to increase student capacity by 50%.

• Exploring new training locations across the country for 20-day Field Sessions. 

NIPFTC Staff will also be identifying new curricula while addressing the logistics of expanding field sessions and workshops. We will be contacting local practitioners and training officials to identify potential host sites, and to develop relationships with new interagency partners in an inclusive manner.
